SaaSBoomi required a comprehensive revamp of their podcast post-production process, and improvement in visual treatment. When executed, the channel saw almost 100% increase in their subscriber base within a quarter.

SaaSBoomi required a comprehensive revamp of their podcast post-production process, and improvement in visual treatment. When executed, the channel saw almost 100% increase in their subscriber base within a quarter.

Goal

The need was to elevate the post-production quality of SaaSBoomi’s podcast episodes, which feature industry leaders and influencers, ensuring consistency in visuals, framing, and sound across all content.

Process

The project began with a thorough review of the existing podcast episodes to identify improvement areas. This led to developing opportunities for improvement in screen direction, framing, motion graphics, and audio mixing.

Inconsistent visual direction and half-screen boxes were corrected by locking in a more standardized template and improving framing across all episodes. Visual quality was enhanced by addressing ratios and ensuring all footage met required standards. New branded elements were integrated, adding a more professional feel to intros, transitions, and other segments.

On fixing all of this and perfectly strategizing on a one-to-many content creation form, reels and articles were also extracted from the long form, to create a multi-platform synergy to drive community adoption.

Result

The revamped post-production workflow resulted in increased viewer retention and positive feedback on the professional look and feel of the podcast. The channel’s growth reflected the improved quality, with more consistent branding across all episodes.
